SCSBA offers two ways for boards to examine their current practices and operations: a self-assessment and a comprehensive process in which educators, parents and community members provide input. Both encourage the setting of goals for increased board effectiveness and accountability. The comprehensive assessment helps boards measure their progress in meeting board and board member standards.
