SCSBA responds to draft NCLB waiver proposal
SCSBA applauds the South Carolina Department of Education’s intention to seek flexibility from the No Child Left Behind Act. However, details within the 60-plus page proposal raise many questions, issues and concerns. As such, we respectfully request these areas of concern and questions be adequately addressed prior to submitting the proposal to the U.S. Department of Education (USDE). Working with the South Carolina Association of School Administrators, SCSBA drafted a list of concerns and questions, click here to see the list. (181k PDF) |
